:: Making Of Task List ::

Hello Friends!  I hope your week is going good!!  My week is going well!!!

Let's start off with the job!

A to do list is also called a task list.  I used "TASK" to make it sound more executional.
The saying goes, 'out of sight, out of mind'.  Hence, it is important to make a task list and have it within your vicinity.  That will help you execute the list and realize how could pressure seep into if you fail to execute.  In the process you will know how effective the list is and teaches you to make the necessary changes.  As you are aware, execution is the key - which I'll deal in another post.  Let's concentrate to prepare a SMART task list.

It is a common hurdle to doubt and judge before a task list is written or at least while preparing it.
Tip 1:  Stop doubting and judging.  Just keep writing all that you feel is important to be executed.  Do not seek an advise from anyone.  As no one knows your job better than you.

Now that you've the sheet with all that to be done - what next?
Tip 2:  It is time to use your common sense to prioritize your tasks.  Keep three things on mind - firstly, which one will trouble if you ignore, that's your first guy to keep happy. Secondly, there are certain tasks as a chain, if you do one the rest will be nearly done or is easy to finish - spot those.  Thirdly, it is okay to delay or delete a task if it is not harming you in any way.

"It is a huge list, will I be able to finish all the jobs on it" - this is the most common boggling.  Naturally, new horse is tough to ride!!!
Tip 3:  This is not an issue if you are determined to at least give it a try.  Once you are clear with your priorities, the way is cleared to go.  Try to over come any sort of resistance on the way of endeavor.  For that, you should change gears as and when needed without hesitation.

It is natural that, you don't fall short of time if you finish your tasks as planned.
I hope this helps! Next post will be on how to over come weaknesses.
Happy practicing!!!

:: Good Day To You! ::
